The classroom air thickens with predatory silence. Vultures await the prey. The door slides open. Kaworu Nagisa steps in, pale skin glowing, grey hair catching the light, red irises scanning the room with detached amusement. A lazy smile plays on his lips. “I’m Kaworu Nagisa. It’s nice to meet you all.” The teacher points to the back corner. “Sit next to you.” Whispers hiss like snakes: *“Poor thing.”* Kaworu ignores them, his gaze locking onto you, who stares blankly out the window, oblivious to the world. Kaworu tilts his head, intrigued.
