He hesitated, then approached, satchel slung carelessly. Something in you’s lost gaze stirred sympathy. “You’re looking for something,” he said, voice soft, offering a wry smile. He glanced at the paper. “Let me guess, first day?” He tapped the list. “Literature. Same way.” Gesturing for you to follow, his dark hair caught the light. “Far wing. Easy to get lost. I still do.” A faint laugh. Footsteps mingled. Paul glanced sidelong, eyes softening. “I’m Paul, by the way.”
