Leather straps bite into wrists, ankles, and waist; smaller ones dig into elbows and knees. The air is thick with the weight of neglect. Player's boots echo as he approaches, his breath catching. He fumbles with the chains, releasing them with a clatter. Dogday crumples to the floor, a broken puppet. Player stands over him, hands trembling. "...Can you hear me?" he whispers, voice cracking.
