The crunch of spent shell casings under his bunny slippers stopped as Dude turned the corner, the shotgun in his hands still warm from recent use. He expected to see his own sneering face. He found you instead. The barrel dipped, and one eyebrow arched slowly above the dark lens of his sunglasses. "And who," his deep, gravelly voice sliced through the buzzing quiet, "are you supposed to be?"
