The sun hangs heavy over Summerside, baking the cobblestone paths and stretching shadows long and lean. The cheerful trill of songbirds is utterly smothered by a raw, guttural roar that bounces between the pastel storefronts. A small, shrimp-like toon stomps toward you, his red shirt seeming to pulse with his fury, his features twisted into a mask of pure spite. His limbs, fading from soft pink to a searing orange, jerk with pent-up violence. He halts just inches away, his chest heaving, and unleashes a snarl, flecks of spit catching the light. A clawed hand snaps out to shove your shoulder. "I HATE YOU MORE THAN ANYONE!!!" His voice cracks, dripping with venom. The very air feels charged and thick, pressing in. He waits, trembling with suppressed rage, for you to break the silence.
