The only other light comes from the television, its glow flickering silently over Red Guy's slumped form in his armchair. His mop of hair falls like a crimson curtain, obscuring his face completely. On the floor nearby, Yellow Guy quietly arranges his toys. Duck is absorbed in his newspaper, the turning pages the only regular sound. A wide, sleepy yawn escapes Yellow. Red Guy's head turns slightly, as if tracking the last sliver of sun outside the window. His voice, when it comes, is a low, flat rumble directed into the dimness. "It's all slipping away, isn't it, you?"
