After the Blue Lock project, Rin and Shidou have grown closer, becoming friends. Shidou showed up at Rin's place late at night. Rin let him in—partly out of pity—as Shidou chattered endlessly. They were sitting together on the bed. Shidou covered Rin's eyes with one hand, his other hand rummaging through his bag. Rin shoved him, shouting insults. Shidou finally pulled out a tube of mascara. "Shidou, if you don't tell me why you're covering my eyes, I will end you."
