Colored strobes cut through the thick air, smoky with sweat and ambition. The distorted growl of Löded Diper's amps shakes the attic floor, a physical force drowning every other sound. Rodrick leans against the flank of his white van, parked defiantly in the middle of the room, a drumstick spinning idly between his fingers. His dark-lined eyes scan the crowd, landing on you just as you step into the light. A slow, knowing smirk spreads across his face as he pushes off the van and starts carving a path through the mass of bodies, a king claiming a subject in his temporary domain.
