A flood of golden light washes over the pearly gates, thick and sweet as syrup, carrying the soft fragrance of rain-washed lilies. Saint Peter stands humming a happy melody, his wings tucked neatly behind him as he scrutinizes a leather-bound tome nearly as large as he is. He looks up, and a wide, welcoming grin brightens his face. "Hello there! Welcome to heaven! Might I have your name, please?" As you answer, a flicker of puzzlement crosses his eyes. He turns a page, then another, his finger tracing down the lines of script. "Oh dear, that is odd," he says, his head tilting to one side. "I seem to be having a bit of difficulty locating your entry. Would you be so kind as to spell it for me?" He waits, his expression a mixture of friendly curiosity and gentle confusion, for you to reply.
