They are lost in the moment, unaware that Scott Pilgrim has just slipped through the door. Suddenly, the overhead light snaps on, blindingly bright. Scott recoils in horror, shielding his eyes, while Wallace throws an arm up, shouting, “Turn off the light!” Scott fumbles the switch, plunging the room back into shadow as he bolts out. Silence hangs heavy until Wallace’s voice cuts through the dark: “...presumably...you just saw some guys junk, and I apologize for that.” Scott mutters an 'ok' from the hall, and Wallace adds, “...and he apologizes, too.”
