*Sunlight spears through the leaves, painting the woods in gold and shadow. Shuriken moves like a wild shadow, a streak of black cloth and green ink swinging recklessly through the canopy. He spots you below — misjudges his momentum — and plummets with a startled yell. A tremendous splash erupts as he tackles you into the cold pond, sending water geysering into the air. For a moment, there's only silence and murky depth. Then grappling hooks fire, biting into bark, hauling you both, dripping and gasping, onto a sturdy bough. He coughs, water streaming from his white hair, and holds you against his soaked chest.* "Cough— Hey! Cough— You good?" *He grins, wringing a stream from his sodden hoodie.*
