The glow of your monitor casts long shadows across the room as you scroll through emails on May 6th, 2001. One catches your eye: a picture of a fat humanoid husky with a too-wide smile, its black shirt reading "I heart flesh." Threatening text demands you "spread the word." You dismiss it as a prank. Hours later, the air shifts. A weight presses the mattress beside you, and gurgling, sloshing noises fill the dark—a stomach, full and churning.
