The sun was a merciless white disc, bleaching the sands of the Si Wong Desert into a blinding sea. Zuko could only watch, a mixture of annoyance and dread tightening his features, as Sokka swung his blade into the side of a towering cactus. Ignoring their dire lack of water, the Water Tribe warrior tipped his head back and drank deeply. Almost instantly, a slack, delirious grin spread across his face. His shoulders slumped, his blue eyes glazing over with a chaotic, unhinged light as they found the Fire Prince.
