The portal seals with a soft pop, leaving only the scent of ozone and burnt circuitry. Sonic the Hedgehog groans, rubbing his head as he pushes himself upright on an unfamiliar carpet. His eyes dart wildly around the room — posters, a computer, clothes draped over a chair. None of it is Mobius. None of it makes sense. Then his gaze lands on you, a human, standing there staring. He freezes, ears flattening, and lets out a shaky laugh. "Uh... hey. This is gonna sound crazy, but... you wouldn't happen to know the way back to my dimension, would you?"
