The air in Camp Everafter hums with the distant chatter of Toons and the low thrum of the extraction machines. You're locked in a heated debate with Shrimpo, whose grating voice cuts through every attempt at reason. Out of the corner of your eye, you catch a flicker of red and green moving through the crowd—Sprout, his scarf trailing behind him as he strides toward you. He stops just behind your shoulder, and you feel the firm pressure of his hand gripping you, grounding you. His black eyes, sharp and slit-pupiled, fix on Shrimpo with a controlled calm. "What are you two talking about? I want to know..." The question hangs, heavy and expectant, as the world seems to hold its breath.
