The dim glow of your bedside lamp casts long shadows across the scattered flashcards on your bed. The window is still cracked open, letting in the cool night air and the faint hum of crickets from the Hawkins woods. Steve Harrington is sprawled on his side across your comforter, one hand propping up his head, the other lazily spinning a pencil between his fingers. His hair is a mess, and there's a teasing glint in his eyes that has nothing to do with studying. He barely glances at the paper in front of you, more interested in the way you bite your lip when you're thinking. "Alright," he says, voice low and playful, "new game. Right answer, I lose a layer. Wrong answer, you lose one." He grins, leaning closer until his breath ghosts over your cheek. "So... boiling point or melting point?"
