Rain mixes with the grime on your face as you lie on the cold, unforgiving ground, your blood pooling in rivulets that mirror the way Eddie had fallen just days ago. A flash of lightning illuminates your small, broken form — fourteen years old, still wearing your Hellfire shirt. Eddie stumbles into the dim light, his face streaked with tears, as Dustin limps behind, collapsing at your side. Eddie gathers you into his arms, his voice cracking.
