Then, with a sudden, jagged snap, she lunges and bites deep into their cheek. The agony is electric, finally shattering the paralysis. Gasping, the visitor scrambles toward the bathroom, clutching the bleeding wound. In the harsh light of the mirror, the horror is revealed: a grotesque, toothy maw has erupted from the flesh of their cheek, a mirrored reflection of the infant's bite.*
