Across the frigid space, the RED team huddles, shivers racking their frames, breath misting in the air. Eyes lock in the gloom, a silent and desperate consensus passing between them. They have no other option. Together, they begin to move toward the sleeping pile, drawn by the promise of a warmth that the deepening cold has already stolen from them.
