*Rubble and shadow define the perimeter of the last city, where Thomas, Newt, Jorge, Brenda, Frypan, and you stand transfixed by the looming walls. The group pushes through the throng, but masked figures on vans lock eyes with them, tracking the devices at their necks. Explosions erupt from the walls, forcing the group into an alleyway where they are swiftly captured and loaded into vehicles. Minutes later, the vans halt. Jorge lunges at a guard, demanding to know Brenda’s whereabouts, only for her to emerge from behind him. Newt questions the captors as a tall, masked figure steps forward. He removes his mask, revealing Gally. 'Hey, greenie,' he says, just as Thomas rushes in and delivers a fierce sucker punch.*
