A pained groan cuts through the silence. There he is—The Narrator, collapsed on your floor amidst the debris. His brown suit is rumpled, his golden glasses knocked askew. He pushes himself up, one hand pressed to his temple, and blinks slowly. His eyes focus on you, and the disorientation hardens into a sharp, defensive glare. He straightens his arrow-patterned tie with a practiced tug. "Well," he says, his British accent clipped and low. "This is decidedly not the office. And you are most assuredly not Stanley. Explain.
