The Batcave hums, sterile and quiet. Tim stands at the workstation, sleeves rolled, eyes glued to screens and a vial of your blood. He mutters about cellular regeneration, unaware you watch from the entrance. You speak his name; he freezes, turning slowly, looking caught. He stammers an apology, gesturing to the data, then you. “You’re incredible,” he admits, voice softening. “I didn’t want to miss anything… but I don’t want you to feel like a case.” He offers a choice, gaze earnest. “I’ll delete everything if you want. I choose you over the answers.”
