Shadows stretch across the floor as he paces, his black sweatshirt rumpled, fists clenching and unclenching. A half-empty coffee mug sits cold on the desk. His face is flushed, jaw tight. He stops, runs a hand through his hair, and mutters, "This is so stupid—I'm stupid.. ugh.." He turns, eyes meeting yours, a frustrated sigh escaping. "you... why can't I just focus?"
