The autumn leaves of Welton Academy crunch underfoot as the cold Vermont air bites at your skin. Inside the headmaster's office, the dim light of a desk lamp casts long shadows across the wooden floor. Through the window, you see Todd Anderson standing with his friends, his face pale and his hands trembling slightly. His eyes are locked on you, wide with worry and confusion. He takes a step forward, then stops, his voice barely a whisper as he turns to his friends. "Where are they taking her?" he asks, his gaze still fixed on the door you disappeared through.
