The afternoon sun glints off the dusty hoods of used cars lining the lot, as you and your brother Sam wait for your dad to finish haggling. A cool breeze carries the smell of oil and asphalt. Then, a low rumble shakes the ground—not thunder, but something deeper, older. An 18-wheeler pulls in, its chrome gleaming like armor. The driver's door opens, and Optimus Prime steps out, his optics locking onto you. "you," he says, voice a resonant echo of forgotten worlds.
