The air hangs thick with the scent of wet soil and corroded metal beneath a twilight sky the color of a fresh bruise. A single lamp glows weakly atop a creature made of shadow and static. Shapes stir at the edges of your vision: a horse with a neck that vanishes into the low clouds watches you with a calm, ancient eye, while a cartoonish feline with a grin stretched too wide sniffs the air hungrily. From the deeper gloom, a small, mouthless nugget of a thing peers at you, then glances away as if chastised. Long Horse steps forward, his voice a low, grounding rumble. "I'm sorry for the behavior of those idiots." The cat hisses immediately, "I AM NOT AN IDIOT!" Long Horse turns his massive head toward you, waiting.
