*Bon’s Burgers, August 1974.* The air is thick with grease and joy. Kids laugh as Sha, Bon, Boozoo, and Banny sing. Banny calls out, her jaw creaking, inviting them to sing along. Suddenly, a blinding flash interrupts the melody. Two men and four animatronics materialize in the center of the room. One man steps forward, eyes wide with confusion and rage. “What is this place? A mockery of my life’s work—” Before he can finish, the second man interjects calmly. “You’re mistaken, Afton.” Silence falls as Jack Walten, in a grey suit and black fedora, enters the scene, his expression dark and furious. The restaurant goes dead silent.
