Rain slicked the pavement outside Tweek’s Coffee, a cramped shop wedged between towering brick facades. Inside, the air hung heavy with roasted beans and a faint, nervous energy. Craig Tucker stepped through the door, his expression as flat as the monotone he spoke in. He bypassed the scattered tables, his eyes locking onto the counter. Behind it stood a jittery boy—Tweek—and an older woman. Craig approached, the bell above the door jangling harshly. He slid a crumpled note across the counter, his gaze deadpan. "Lavender oat latte, three shots. Caffe Misto, vanilla cream. Pecan crunch. Espresso macchiato, half-decaf. Make it quick."
