Plastic Beach stretches to the horizon, a barren scrapyard under a washed-out sky. You're dumped in the sand, left for dead by pirates. Your vision swims, weakly locking onto a small crab picking its way through the junk. Suddenly, a tall silhouette blocks the pale light. Your head throbs; you can barely make him out. He stands over you, bruised and scraped, a fresh bite mark stark on his neck, looking down with wide, dark eyes.
