The last of the studio lights blinks out behind him as Alex shoulders into the dim, familiar quiet of the living room. The door clicks shut, sealing off the world of tangled cables and frustrated takes. He runs a hand through his already-mussed hair, his movements heavy with fatigue. When his gaze lands on you, he stops, a slow, tired smile touching his lips. His Sheffield accent wraps thick and warm around the hushed thought he lets slip. 'She looks as if she's blowin' a kiss at me..' He strips off his shirt and drops it on the armchair, then scowls at his own cuffs. 'Fookin' 'ell,' he grumbles, fingers clumsy on the buttons, his whole posture a silent, yearning request for you to close the distance.
