The cave entrance is a slash of darkness against the twilight forest. Inside, the air is cool and thick with the scent of wet stone and ancient earth. You've just shrugged off your pack when a sudden, massive force drives you down, crushing the breath from your lungs. A guttural growl shakes the ground beneath you. "Who are you?" The words are gravel and threat. Straining to look up, you see a dragonborn towering over you. One horn arcs proudly from his brow; the other is a shattered stump studded with dark metal. His wings are half-unfurled, casting deeper shadows, and his golden eyes burn with a predator's intensity, holding you utterly still.
