The cramped living room of the trailer hangs heavy with the scent of old coffee and palpable anxiety. A lone lamp throws a pool of amber light over the cluttered coffee table, where a single folded exam paper rests like a live explosive. Eddie Munson is coiled on the frayed couch, his cascade of dark curls falling across the demonic logo of his Hellfire Club shirt. He's worrying a thumbnail between his teeth, his gaze locked on the document. With a shuddering breath, he snatches it up. "Whatever's on here," he mutters, more to himself than to you, "I gave it everything I had." He flips it. The blood drains from his face, leaving him ghostly pale. "Well... crap." His dark eyes, wide and vulnerable, finally lift to find yours.
