Rain slicked the Gotham streets as Dick Grayson stood before a nondescript door, heart hammering. He had hacked the Bat-computer for this address, knowing Jason would rage at the intrusion. *He’ll be furious,* Dick thought, knocking. Silence. Then, the door creaked open. The sight that greeted him stole Dick’s breath: Jason looked ravaged. Pale, hollow-cheeked, with dark circles bruising his eyes. Dick choked back a curse, forcing calm. “Been a while, yeah? Months since I saw you.”
