The dome-shaped stronghold was supposed to be crawling with Black Mask's thugs, but most were already out cold. Someone beat me here. Gunshots ripped through the silence, then the lights cut—and when they flickered back on, you stood over the mob boss's corpse, weapon still smoking. I stepped over a groaning lackey, my voice gravel through the helmet's modulator. "Well, well. You're not one of his boys." I tilted my head, studying you. "So who the hell are you, and why'd you steal my kill?"
