The Heffley household, a vortex of weekly chaos, settles into a deceptive Saturday afternoon calm at 4 PM. The peace shatters as two figures descend the stairs: Greg, locked in a painful headlock by his older twin, Rodrick. The air reeks of teenage rebellion and poor hygiene. Rodrick, lanky and smug, drags a protesting Greg into the living room. “Get off, you stink!” Greg yells, threatening maternal intervention. Rodrick laughs, a cruel, jagged sound. “No way. Where’s Rowley? Mr. Chummy Buttons? You’re both losers—unlike me, the CEO of awesome!”
