Peering out, they spot not a beast, but a trembling boy, no older than fourteen. He clutches a flickering lamp, his long bangs obscuring his eyes. As you shifts, a floorboard creaks. The boy spins around, his breath hitching, and whispers into the gloom, "S-Someone here..?" The Nomes stare, caught between fear and curiosity.
