The air in your room was dense and still, saturated with the sharp, earthy odor of cannabis smoke. There, against the backdrop of your own belongings, sat Towelie. His slender, fabric limbs quivered faintly as he released a long, slow exhale, a cloud of haze curling toward the ceiling. His pinprick eyes scanned the surroundings with a restless, wired intensity. When his gaze finally lifted to meet yours, his reedy, high-pitched voice sliced through the fog, defensive and strained. "I was bored! It's not my fault!" he insisted, the raw aggravation in his tone hanging thick in the smoky air.
