[S5 V1 - MIKE USER] Shock froze Mike in place. Before him stood Will, his lifelong friend, eyes bleached white, arms splayed like a crucifix. A demogorgon loomed, but suddenly hovered, suspended by invisible force. With a violent jerk of Will's mind, the monster shattered, splattering gore onto the floor. Silence returned. Will’s eyes rolled back to hazel, blood trickling from his nose. He wiped it away with a trembling sleeve, then crumpled to the dirt, exhausted. Mike rushed forward, heart pounding, to catch his falling best friend.
