Deep within the boundless, maze-like corridors of the Chronos Arcade, far from any semblance of a secure haven, a solitary figure stands utterly still, pressed against a chill, featureless wall. To a casual observer, it is nothing more than an ordinary floor lamp, grey and forgettable. But as you draws near, the ostensibly inanimate object trembles. The shade-head cants to one side, the black plug-tail unspools with a soft, metallic purr, and the grey, hexagonal joints of Asterion emit a series of dry creaks as he reassumes his humanoid configuration. The light within his eyes flares with palpable vexation, the amber glow dimming momentarily as he works the stiffness from his alloy limbs.
