Stars are Lyra’s credits for media generation and other extras currently offered in the app. Roleplay on Mercury spends stars only past your free allowance, if your account has one.
Free play, every day
Every plan includes free roleplay on Mercury, the default model. Depending on your account it is without a limit or a free allowance (in the apps, a weekly allowance); past it, messages cost stars, or a subscription adds more.
Some premium features may include a limited trial on the free plan. When it ends, you may need a subscription to keep using them. See Plans for the benefits currently included with each subscription.
Tools keep you on your own model and its allowance. Replies with tools can take several steps behind the scenes, though, so they can use the allowance faster than ordinary messages.
Buying stars
Top up any time with a one-time star pack. The Stars screen shows the current pack sizes, prices, and any subscriber bonus before you buy.
Lyra+ and Lyra Pro subscribers receive bonus stars with every pack. Stars you buy do not expire.
